About A House Call Service

George M. Korin DVM is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College.  Dr. Korin arrived in the New York City area in 1985 and for 5 years he worked for various area hospitals. 

In 1990, eager to establish his own veterinary practice, Dr. Korin began providing home services to Manhattan residents. Several years later he affiliated with two veterinary hospitals so that he could bring his house-call patients in for further diagnostic, medical, surgical and dental care, thereby continuing to give his patients and clients his personal attention. Dr. Korin's wife Jeanne provides veterinary house-call assistance and follow-up care for "A House Call Service" patients. Cat sitting is also available.

George and Jeanne Korin share their home with one mixed-breed dog, four felines, and two sons, Adrian and Darius, who sometimes accompany their dad on house calls.  It is quite the "family" practice.  

 Dr. Korin is a former president (2004) of the NYC Veterinary Medical Association. In 2005 he received the Veterinarian of the Year Award from the Association and its peers.
